Perform miscellaneous diagnosis and repair: wheel bearings.

Perform antilock system diagnosis and repair.

Perform inspection of steering & suspension components and diagnose component failure.

Identify different steering suspension systems.

Perform disassembly and reassembly of related steering/suspension components.

Identify passive restraint and airbag components.

Perform diagnostic tests on passive restraint and airbag components.

It is possible for a student to take a small grouping of courses which, taken as a unit, may satisfy requirements for a particular position within the automotive technology field. The student may make written application to the Office of Admissions and Registration to receive written verification of completion of the certificate program.
