LAWF 2723 Introduction to Corrections

This course will include an overview of correctional processes, methods and systems, including services available at local, state, and federal levels; a historical view of corrections and evolution of correctional philosophy; and a study of the prison community including inmate rules and codes, disciplinary problems and laws governing such institutions.
