COMP1521 Computer Literacy
The computer novice will study the non-technical aspects of computers. Emphasis will be given to the impact of computers on society. A survey of basic hardware and software components, application in various fields, and hands-on experience using modern software in word processing are included. Credit for
COMP 1521 is reserved for students who have not earned prior credit in a more advanced microcomputer course.
