PSCI 1524 Earth Science & Astronomy

This course is designed to introduce the non-science major to the basic concepts of the earth sciences and astronomy. The student will describe and analyze the structure, evolution and dynamics of the earth, our solar system, and the universe. In the laboratory, the student will apply this knowledge to the identification of earth materials and the analysis of astronomical phenomena. Some algebra is required in this course.
