ENGL 0956 Preparation for College English
Students will develop their abilities in college-level reading, comprehension and writing. Assignments will include writing lengths from one paragraph to a short essay. The rules of writing, proper use of vocabulary and the interaction between rhetorical situation, purpose and audience will be part of the course. This course is designed to prepare students for college-level coursework.
Prerequisite
Appropriate assessment score or a grade of C or better in WRIT 0983 and READ 0984; or ENGL 0944 - Must be completed prior to taking this course.
